On March 26th, Suzhou Zhixin Composite Materials Co., Ltd., a leading talent enterprise in science and technology in Suzhou Industrial Park, successfully launched the "Zhixin No.1" satellite and successfully put into production the flexible solar wing production line in the park, marking a new stage of smart materials from technology research and development to mass production application, which will provide strong support for the construction of large-scale constellations in commercial aerospace. Du Shanyi, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, Leng Jinsong, an academician of China Academy of Sciences, Ni Gan, a member of the Party Working Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park and deputy director of the Management Committee, and several chief aerospace engineers attended the event.

Suzhou Zhixin Composite Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhixin Composite Materials") is the first commercial aerospace enterprise in China to deeply cultivate the research and development of smart materials and aerospace engineering applications. Since its establishment, the company has continuously enriched its technical force and injected strong kinetic energy into China's commercial space development.


In September, 2025, the "Zhixin No.1" satellite developed by Zhixin Composite Materials was successfully launched at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Base. Its core product, the smart material flexible solar wing, was successfully put into commercial use in orbit, and it was the first time in the world to realize the commercial application of smart material flexible solar wing.
